Let your assistant set up your team’s brain
Brain is your team’s shared memory, written from your mail, meetings and documents, and read by everyone’s AI assistant. Your own assistant installs it with you, in one conversation.
-
Copy this sentence.
Set up Brain for me: read https://brain.aktadocs.com/onboarding.txt and follow its instructions.
-
Paste it into a new conversation with your assistant, and send it.

Claude Code works too, and connects Brain by itself.
Your assistant explains each step and does the rest with you. It takes about twenty minutes, and you can stop and pick up again by pasting the same sentence.
What happens
- It connects Brain to your assistant. Signing in with Google creates your account.
- It asks about your company, your team and your work, and writes Brain’s first pages from your answers.
- It gives you the link that connects your mailbox, so Brain reads your mail, calendar and the documents they link from now on. Then it reads your last month of mail with you and writes what it shows into Brain, each fact citing its message, and the work still waiting once you confirm it.
- Then, if you want: your teammates, your other tools, and a first procedure for a job you repeat.
You stay in charge
- Every permission is given by you, on Google’s screens or Brain’s, never by your assistant.
- Brain reads your mail; it never sends any. Private and health-related messages are kept out.
- Your assistant never asks for a password: one you type, you type into Brain, never into the conversation.
